Concertina Book:
a concertina book is a handmade book you can make at home all you would need is a peice of paper! Just fold thr paper a couple of times till it looks like a book and you can either colour inside or add your own pictures
why are edges important?
focusing focus is important because it adds more suspense because the main object could be in focus whereas the background it blurred this is really effective
framing getting rid of extra unneeded things in the image this makes it look neater and how the reader sees the image
creating contrast in images
this lesson we took our handmade chatterboxes and different mirrors and went around the whole school placing the objects in different places that made it look really cool .My favourite photo is the 8th one because its is really camouflaged and looks like glass instead of the mirror .
I have been exploring different ideas for edges, below are some examples.

paper sculptures
in todays lesson we got given long strips of paper and create sculptures relating to our theme edges and also Frank Gehry who designs buildings and houses that look like folded pieces of paper. After mixing different shapes and colours we took photos with different backrounds made of card.
